Empty Manger

In order not to offend non Christians, especially the ACLU, St Albams, W.Va., has elected to display a Nativity Scene with manger, cut out animals, fake palm tree but no baby Jesus, Mary or Joseph. Town Mayor, Dick Callaway, with a straight face says, “It’s not easy to put a light-up presentation of a baby in a small manger scene you know.”

Right mayor, the dozen or so people in my neighborhood probably spent a good 20 minutes constructing their front yard babes in mangers. So congratulations St. Albams, W. Va., for offering peace on earth, goodwill towards men that find baby Jesus offensive. At last count there were about eight. Now that you’ve helped the ACLU with killing Christmas, they can move on to other goals, like freeing murderers, and nurturing terrorists.

“For Mary and Joseph there was no room in the Inn.” In St. Albams, there’s plenty of room, the manger is empty.
