Alabama vs. Hawaii

Tomorrow pits the college football match up of a grid iron classic, The University of Alabama vs. The University of Hawaii. This year's game is played on the Crimson Tide campus which should prove exciting for the traveling Islanders.

These visiting kids, "The Warriors," are from exotic beach locations, places like Honolulu or Maui. For most of them, this is their first time in the deep south. I don't know anything about the Warrior's football program. Actually, I never knew they played football in our 50th state. But I do know for these collegiates to leave Hawaii for spending a weekend in Tuscaloosa, Alabama they must love the game.

Many Hawaiians read this blog, actually about three, which is about the same number of them traveling to Denny Stadium tomorrow. These visitors from far away have no idea of what to do, see, or how to act while at 'Bama. So for our friends from the Pacific, we offer these suggestions:

While in Denny Stadium, which seats about 95 thousand people in various stages of soberity, belt out a WAR EAGLE! They love that.

Tell the people sitting around you that you are a liberal democrat and proud of it.

Ask those same Crimson Tiders is it true what maggots and bama fans have in common? Both can live 30 years off a dead bear?

When everyone else screams "roll tide" you shout, "It's rolling baby!, Long live Coach Price!"

Like they say in Hawaii, 'Aloha.' If you do any of the above, Rest in Peace.
